It's all about the story!

Martine wolff

Martine is a European cinematographer based between Melbourne and London. She comes from an arts background, has an MA in cinematography from Goldsmiths, University of London and her focus lies in visual storytelling in narrative film.

Martine is inspired by truth, beauty and the awkward of life and carefully listens to the story that wants to be told. Curiosity about the world has helped her develop her own way of perception, understanding and implementation of stories through the medium of camera and light.

Martine’s latest feature film Sunflower (dir. Gabriel Carrubba) has been received well and is in it’s festival run, having been selected for 7 festivals so far. It has premiered at the Sydney Film Festival and been the official selection of Festivals such as the Melbourne International Film Festival, Brisbane International Film Festival, Adelaide Film Festival and more. It also went to the Marché du Film - Festival de Cannes 2023. Two more features that Martine shot, Love Tea and Epiphany and Reign on Me are currently in the final stages of post production.

Short films that Martine has been the cinematographer for, such as Keep Mum (dir. Luana di Pasquale) and Latent (dir. Lefteris Parasyris), have been earning awards nationally and internationally and she has been both nominated and also won awards for cinematography.
